This series contains photographs related to government service buildings (including fire brigades, law courts, post offices, police stations, and telephone exchanges) in Victoria, the Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and Auckland, New Zealand in the 1950s and 1960s. The photographs in this series were published in the Cross-Section newsletter between 1954 and 1968. Notable architects include Stephenson & Turner and Yuncken Freeman Bros. Notable photographers include Mark Strizic and L. & D. Keen.
